Sanur has the potential to satisfy anyone. Essentially a sleepy fishing village, Sanur is great for evening walks browsing through the many shops and markets without the frantic activity of Kuta or Legian. A broad range of accommodation is available from initimate boutique hotels to sprawling International Resorts. The beach is sheltered from the surf by a coral reef creating a lazy lagoon, perfect for children & families.

Nusa Dua is known internationally as the premier resort area of Bali, and is situated only 20 mins from the hustle and bustle of Kuta or the airport. Nusa Dua has luxurious accommodation and a collection of fashion boutiques, speciality shops and restaurants.

What's The Surf Like?

What's The Surf Like?

The best time of year for this side of Bali is from October to April, when the trade winds are offshore. This section of coast has at least 6 well known breaks ranging from 2km offshore reefs with shifting peaks to point breaks and sucky beach breaks. There is something for all standards of surfers with some less popular breaks to the north of Sanur which can be worth the drive when the swell is big. Go check them out you will be surprised how good they can get. Remember always respect the locals in and out of the water.
