Botik Resort offers you a trip with a difference and the Botik crew will go out of their way making sure your surfing holiday is that little bit better. Botik Resort is located in the middle of the Playgrounds Area in the Mentawai Island and is situated on the island of Botik. The island has a total surface area of approximately 72 hectare and the resort grounds utilise the entire island which is around one kilometer long and 500 meters wide. The whole island is surrounded by a pristine white sandy beach with half of the island being covered with palm trees and the other half by a massive rain forest with trees over 30 meters high. The combination of these two micro-eco systems bring to the island a great diversity of natural life.

Botik Resort has been designed with you the guest in mind and all guests will feel a great comfort during their stay on the island thanks to the minimal amount of people they have staying per trip on the island. With a limit of 4 people to each boat makes it much more simpler and quicker to organise daily trips to the many different breaks found in the immediate area. Whether there is surf or not the crew at Botik Resort will make the best out of each day for you.

Botik Island is perfectly situated inside the northern part of the Mentawai's Island chain which enables you to get to all those perfect breaks in very little time. From the resort you can reach iconic breaks such as Kandui's left in 5 minutes, Hideaways in 3 minutes, Bank Vaults in 8 minutes. Apart from these waves, other breaks are accessible from Botik Resort and are all within a 15 minute radius from the island. These breaks are all exposed to different winds and swell directions, making the area's wave selection an abundance of choice.

Minimum length of stay at Botik Resort is 7 days and the bookings are made per bungalow which sleep up to 4 people in beautiful and comfortable surrounds. Botik Resort has 2 bungalows which accommodates a maximum of 8 people in the whole resort. Each bungalow is completely independent as it has its own designated speedboat and surf guide to go wherever you decide. You will not be dependant on other guests staying at the resort.

Your trip starts with the Botik Resort crew the moment you arrive at Padang airport. From here on all you have to you is relax and enjoy what will be one of those trips of your life… After your pick up from the airport and depending on your arrival time, you will be taken to one of the best available hotels in town for use of day rooms so you can relax and freshen up before the overnight ferry ride out to the resort. On the ferry you will stay in comfortable rooms with air-conditioning which does depend on availibility at the time of booking. Arriving at Tua Pajet in the Mentawais the Botik Resort speed boats will be there waiting for you to take you straight to the island.

Food	Built on the foreshore of Botik Island beach the restaurant is the perfect location to meet after your day of surfing and enjoy the delicious prepared meals. Here you will be able to watch the footage captured that day on the big screen TV while you relax and take in a few drinks. All of Botik Resort's recipes have been designed by a professional Spanish chef that lives in Bali and the cooks at the resort also have some other local Sumatran styled meals that are served at various times during your stay.
Breaks Accessed	4-Bobs Just across from Chubbies, 4-Bobs is an painless right that tapers into a deep channel giving it a fat, fun and short nature. Arrik's Excellent left with workable sections which can handle plenty size Bank Vaults A powerful, weighty right hander that works in almost any size, with sets arriving from anywhere when least expected. An extremely quick rise the reef causes the lip to pitch thick and heavy. Burger World (Koriniki) Winding off a coral protrusion, this right-hander can delivers a short punchy wave on any tide. It is located off Dodiki Island, a few miles west of E Bay. Chubbies This wave wraps around the island of Penanggalan and appears much like its name. E-Bay This wave pushes up onto a curved reef to create a perfect, fast hollow barrel over 50-100yards.It wraps around the west point of Masolut Island land,off the south tip of Siberut. Icelands A heavy, inconsistent left that wraps into the western bay of Pototoga Island and rises out of deep water up a steep sloped reef. This causes the wave to pitch in a swift, unpredictable manner. No Kanduis Although a wave of various moods, when it’s on this is an ideal left-hander with breathtaking barrels. Pit Stops A right-hander just around from E Bay, which breaks over reef and sand. Pussies (Nipussi) A consistent, welcoming right-hander, which breaks off a second reef east of Bank Vaults. This wave can be fun but don’t omit the possibility of getting barreled or held down. Rifles Situated off the east edge of Karangmajet Island, this is an extremely long, fast right-hander that bends and can throw out unexpected tubes or shut-downs. Scarecrows Although not the most perfect wave in the Islands, it is a beautiful left-hander with sufficient chances to get barreled. The takeoff has to be judged properly as it has a shifting peak and sometimes sections. This wave is positioned off a neighbouring island of Pittojat Island. Suicides A well named shallow left-hander over live coral heads. A ride involves a steep takeoff under a shifting peak, followed by entry into the barrel and a short fast drive to a deep channel. It is located around a fringe reef of the northern end of Sipura. Telescopes Located a couple of miles south of Suicides, off Cape Kinilok on Sipura. This wave wraps left along a curved reef and is one of the most picture perfect waves in the world.
